Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee, Alabama State Senate
The Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee is a standing committee of the Alabama State Senate.
Per the Senate Rules, committees of the Alabama State Senate are assigned by the Committee on Assignments, consisting of the president pro tempore, the presiding officer, the senate majority leader, and three additional members appointed by the president pro tempore. A majority of appointed members make up a committee's quorum. [1][2]

“ | The Committee on Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, to which committee shall be referred all bills and matters relating to Alabama's agriculture and forestry, as well as wildlife, water resources, land, air, environmental protection, and ensuring the preservation of fish and game for future generations of Alabamians. The Committee on Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry shall not exceed 13 members.[3][4] | ” |
