Meeting experience: Amazon Chime automatically selects where to host each meeting based on attendee proximity and AWS network telemetry.
Join Meetings with Alexa: You can say “Alexa, start my meeting”, and Alexa helps get your meeting started.
Amazon Chime call me: With Amazon Chime call me, you can enter your phone number in the web application and answer an incoming call to join the meeting.

Participating in a meeting
Screen share: You can share your screen or present information in a meeting, without requesting permission.
Visual roster: The visual roster lets you see who has joined or declined the meeting, who is running late, who is currently speaking, and lets you see where background noise is coming from.
Video Tiles: You can enable video with one click to interact with your meeting attendees visually. Amazon Chime supports video features such as picture-in-picture for 1:1 meetings, featured video, and highlights the video of attendees who are speaking.
Record your meetings: Amazon Chime allows you to record your meetings so that you can share recordings with colleagues and replay as needed.
Video Conferencing
Video conferencing: You can use wideband audio and high-definition video conferencing on your desktop, or on mobile devices.
Conference room video systems: Amazon Chime supports most Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and H.323 video conferencing systems, and meeting participants can join meetings by entering the meeting ID into the device console.
Team Collaboration
Chat: You can use Amazon Chime to chat with colleagues directly, in a group, or in a chat room. You can share attachments, search contacts, conversations, and chat rooms, and read conversations across all devices.
Chat rooms: Chat rooms can be created to help enable multiple users to collaborate on projects, and share files with colleagues. You can use @mentions to direct messages to specific participants.
1:1 voice and video calls: You can make person-to-person voice and video calls which are designed to help you quickly transition from messaging to voice or video chat as needed. With call history your incoming, outgoing, and missed calls are listed to help you return a call, send a message, or add a new contact.
Smart Presence: Amazon Chime uses smart presence to indicate your availability status, where green means you’re available, and red means you’re busy. You can also manually set your presence to indicate that you’re not available, or hide your presence status entirely.
Incoming Web Hooks: Developers can configure their applications to use incoming webhooks to post messages into Amazon Chime chat rooms.
Chat Bots: Use custom chat bots in your chat rooms. Users can interact directly with chat bots, for use cases such as providing access to corporate applications and information, and to automate common tasks.
Business Calling
Single Application: You can place and receive phone calls and send and receive text messages directly from the Amazon Chime application.
Voicemail: If you are unable to answer an incoming call, Amazon Chime voicemail is designed to answer it for you. Voicemails are captured and can be accessed directly in the Amazon Chime application.
Place Phone Calls: Make calls to over 100 countries around the world from any of the applications using a keypad, call history, or any contacts with a phone number saved in your Amazon Chime applications.
Switch Between Devices: From the Amazon Chime application, you can switch active calls between mobile and desktop devices.
Call History: You can see a list of the calls that you’ve placed, answered, or missed. This is designed to help you redial, reply with a message, or return a missed call.
Turns Calls into Meetings: You can add additional participants to your 1:1 phone call to turn it into an Amazon Chime meeting, regardless of whether they are using the Amazon Chime application or their telephones.
Text Messaging: Send and receive text and picture messages to more than 100 countries. Text messages have the same look and feel as an Amazon Chime chat.
