Rini was the leader of the Fire Finches by the time of Fire Lord Ozai's coronation.

History[]

Rini's parents died crushing an uprising in the colonies, and her grandmother later passed away. No one was left to take care of Rini, so she had to take care of herself. She was alone for two years before she was found by the Fire Finches and quickly became one of its most trusted members, eventually ascending as their leader after their previous one "became old and boring".[1]

By day, Rini and the other Finches conducted their business out of the aviary in Zoryu Park.[2] At some point, Rini clashed with a fellow Finch, Sunlin, about the aims of their group. This led to the latter leaving the Fire Finches.[3]

Personality[]

Rini was self-confident, charismatic, and dynamic, making her one of the most beloved of the Finches. She was also considered sharp-witted and sassy. She never gave up and would fight to the death for any Finch if she had to; although Rini considered that to be a stupid concept, ultimately believing that it was better to run away from a fight and live to be with loved ones, rather than to die for a cause.[1]

She was loyal and her main drive was to protect the Fire Finches.[1]

Abilities[]

Rini knew every inch of the streets of Hari Bulkan at the age of fourteen. She was a firebender and her fighting style was using an opponent's momentum against them in order to leave them fatigued.[1]
