Rai Feng, known as his persona Breeze, is a stunt professional employed by Varrimovers International. Rai Feng created his "stuntmaster" persona of Breeze around his supposed airbending abilities, although these were being faked. In actuality, his assistant Aiko is the real airbender.[1]

History[]

Rai Feng had a moderately successful career as an actor, but ended up failing professionally, being on his way to decline and irrelevance.[1][2] However, on the set of a new mover, his assistant, Aiko, accidentally used airbending and caused an accident. A flash of inspiration took Rai Feng, and he agreed to cover up for her, taking credit for the airbending and building it into a whole new persona — Breeze, "stuntmaster" and pioneer of a whole new form of airbending.[1] He lied that he had reached a "new level of consciousness" and that he was "far more enlightened" than Tenzin and his followers, with a brand new superb airbending technique.[2]

Breeze continued to work with Aiko, having her used her limited control of airbending to assist him in creating stunts while he takes all the credit, and continued to escalate his absurd promises. Having no sense of Aiko's limits or restraint, he was determined to use the opportunity to become as successful as possible.[1] He also fed her fears that she would be forced to join the Air Nation if her abilities were discovered, and that in turn, it would mean that her new obligations would force her to leave the mover industry. While Aiko still caused accidents from time to time, Breeze was able to talk them out of trouble with his much-grown clout. However, he also continued to promise ever-greater stunts. The situation threatened to spiral out of control on the set of Sengo: Lady of the Winds, which was Breeze's first time working with Varrimovers International. As the mover's protagonist was an airbender character, Breeze and Aiko's stunts were required for the plot.[2] During the production of the mover, Breeze stayed at the Sleeping Sloth-Mouse, an hotel close to the studio.[3]

Due to the security issues on set, a new security team arrived: Erdene, Qacha, Thi, Meeka, and Dae.[4] The new security arrived on set just as a tremor caused a disaster during filming that risked actors Xue and Quin Yu being hurt. After the shaking subsided, Breeze began to complain to the other stunt performers on set for their subpar work, while boasting about his own.[5]

Personality[]

An extremely ambitious person and a hubristic idiot,[2] Breeze is driven to accrue as much fame and success as possible, even if it means making up absurd claims, or manipulating Aiko.[1]

Abilities[]

As an actor, Rai Feng was well on his way to irrelevance, and his stunts and supposed airbending are a sham. However, he was able to build up a reputation for astonishing work, skill, and creativity, even if this was mostly based on lies.[2] In a fight, he is mostly just only able to swerve and maneuver into a cover.[1]
