East Side King is keeping the shutters coming with the closure of the Dirty Sixth location within The Four Horsemen. The bar posted the news on Facebook and Twitter yesterday:

This will be East Side King's last weekend at The Four Horsemen. We are sad to see our friend's go, but we wish them the best of luck with their other locations.

Four Horsemen said that a new food vendor will take over the second floor window counter space, decked out in Peelander Yellow’s signature murals.

Just last week, ESK shut down the Thai Kun truck at Steampunk Saloon on West 6th Street. Before that, there was the folding of the ramen-centric location at Hole in the Wall last winter.

ESK originally debuted the Dirty Sixth location with much fanfare and fried chicken sandwiches late last summer. Now there is just the Thai Kun truck at Whisler’s, the Thai Kun brick and mortar in the Rock Rose at the Domain, the ESK brick and mortar on South Lamar, the Liberty location, and a truck at Space 24 Twenty.

Paul Qui, one of the co-owners of East Side King, was arrested for assault last month.
