Hairstyles

Hairstyles are usually obtained by searching for Explorer Notes and as rewards for completing Achievements. Survivors may use Scissors Scissors to cut their (or others') hair, which produces Human Hair Human Hair. On ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile, survivors can change their hair style from the character creation menu, which can be accessed by creating a new character or using a Appearance Change Ticket (Mobile) Appearance Change Ticket. Changing a survivor's Hairstyle will reset the hair length to 0%, and it must be regrown in its new style. Hairstyles may be colored with Dye Dye.

Survivors begin with 0% facial and head-hair growth. Hair slowly grows over time. When a survivor dies and respawns, their hair length is not reset to 0%.

Dye Dye may be used to color Hairstyles. This can be accessed from the Scissors Scissors UI. Facial hair and head hair are dyed separately.
