What Is ISO 14001 Accreditation?

ISO 14001 is a base standard program in ANAB’s fee schedule.

Benefits of implementing ISO 14001 environmental management systems include potential reduction in process by-products and wastes; greater employee awareness about the environment and the environmental impact of their jobs; potential increased energy efficiency and energy conservation in design, production, and postproduction processes; creation of systematic structure for complying with environmental regulations; customer satisfaction/requirement; competitive advantage; ease of trade, avoiding non-tariff trade barriers; potential for improved market share; and improved image with community and environmental groups.

You can view the ISO 14001 application in .pdf format to understand specific requirements but the application process must be completed online via ANAB’s EQM database; first-time EQM users must register to create an account.
