Does the U.S. CONGRESS frighten you?

I'm not looking for rants on the president or the citizens, or really rants period, though I certainly can understand if you do so.....

This does not have to be a poem.  I'm looking for well-thought out opinion pieces on the state of our current government.

Again, the question I want answered is:

Does the U.S. CONGRESS frighten you? Detail why or why not.

If you are not a resident of the U.S., that's ok - just slant it to show why what "our" congress does effects you and those in your country or on the globe.
