When Kennedy saw a need for help in navigating the journey to medical school, she created a student group, Mentors in Medicine, that connects first-year pre-med students to opportunities on campus.

Illini 4000 is a student-run, non-profit organization that raises money and awareness for cancer research by biking all the way across the United States, from New York City to San Francisco, each summer.

Students are filled with school spirit as they root our 21 Big Ten, Division I sports teams on to victory. Illini Pride, our student cheering section, is the largest group on campus and knows just how to set the atmosphere for big games. I-L-L and I-N-I!
