What you can do with Adblock Plus on Firefox
Adblock Plus keeps your computer clean of annoying advertisements like pop-ups and video ads, while also fighting against damaging malvertising infections and speeding-up page-loading times.
How the Firefox ad blocker works
Once you have Adblock Plus installed, you can find it on your Firefox menu. It will begin to block ads automatically and can be adjusted through Settings to add whitelists, create filters, and block social media trackers, amongst other things.
Supporting websites and creators
Adblock Plus comes by default with Acceptable Ads enabled, though this can be turned off easily at any time. With Acceptable Ads on, you are still filtering out annoying ads and pop-ups, but allowing some nonintrusive ads which helps content producers to receive monetization for their work.
