If someone started developing unused underground parking spaces into apartments for a reasonable price I would go for it. Please include scuba gear and an escape route please.

Dan offers some advice on where she might find it.
You were taking photos by the Jericho pond on Sunday at 4pm and greeted me as our paths crossed....

Good humour and I'd like to :-) except your insight is painful. Why oh why in Big Beautiful BC with so much land to plan coherent communities, do we get crowded up into human ant-hills?

Stayed in too many shitty commercial drive and kits sublets to ever do that again, but I've also rented 1st floor garage conversion airbnbs before...in Europe. They can function well as a studio apartment, but I imagine Vancouver has too many zoning rules for something like that to happen.

If you're looking for accommodation ideas may I suggest The Mole People about people who live beneath the streets of New York City. The VPL has a copy.

Imagine the sparkle glitter and glam that could be brought to such places in Vancouver to accommodate adoring fans of the new queen of pop
