When you put your camera on the ground (don't try this at home!) and suspend your head above it (from a desk for example) you can not only change your skin colour but also 'inflate' your face. The merit of this procedure is that you get a rather different facial expression - one that is able to get across the frustration and anger about a lost year.

As a wildlife photographer, you normally try to capture your subjects looking as natural as possible, going about their daily activities without being disturbed. But on occasions, your subject catches you trying to quietly sneak up on it and is instantly inquisitive as to what you're doing.
