An old image from my hard drive that I decided to play around with.....
Taken at sunrise at Merewether Beach (NSW, Australia) way back in May 2011.
The image doesn't follow the classic rule of thirds - but I felt that there was enough interest happening throughout the scene that it warranted the presentation as shown - hope you agree!!
Thanks for any comments, views or favorites - greatly appreciated!!
Wishing each and all of you a fantastic day and week ahead!!
One of many spots on Lake Superior called "Agate Beach" - this one is at Black Beach Park in Silver Bay, Minnesota. The Palisade Head is visible in the upper left hand side of the picture.
What I love best is spontaneity :-)

The beach close to Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer - and the beach perhaps most known to the world with its code name from the Normandy landings of 1944: Omaha beach.
And to give you a sens of scale - those two tiny, tiny dots to the far left in the shot? That's a couple of people.

Becoming a bit of a classic as more and more photographers are drawn to these beach huts, and for good reason! There is a very short moment where the tide is right in past the huts, so to time that with a nice sunset is golden!!!!!
While in Hua Hin Thailand, the water was quite choppy and I did not see those colorful fishing boats out at sea that I had expected to be photographing coming to shore at sunrise. There were plenty of boats on the beach, however…
Many thanks for taking the time to see what I saw. :)
Thank you all for your wonderful words, awards, and the group invites. I truly appreciate all of them ♥ :)
At over seven miles long (11 km), Sauble Beach is said to be the second longest freshwater beach in Canada after Wasaga Beach. A phenomenon of sandbar deposits building out along the Lake Huron shoreline keeps the water at Sauble very shallow and warm. This is one of the very few beaches in Ontario where cars were, until recently, allowed to drive and park on the sand near the water, at least on the side (left of the entrance) that is part of the Saugeen First Nation native lands. In 2019, however, the First Nation also banned beach parking.

I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Many thanks to everyone who chooses to leave a comment, invite to groups or add this image to their favorites, your kindness is much appreciated.
