In this article, I will show you two effective ways to reset domain administrator password for Windows server 2019 without losing data or settings in your server computer.
Method 1: Reset Windows Server 2019 Domain Administrator Password with Windows Password Rescuer – 100% Working.
Windows Password Rescuer is a useful Windows password recovery tool which can help you recover or reset Windows local/domain administrator password easily and safely. It works perfectly for all Windows systems such as Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP and Windows server 2019, 2016, 2012, 2008, 2003 etc.

Step 1: Create a password recovery disk with Windows Password Rescuer on another computer.
To remove Windows server 2019 password, you will need to firstly create a password recovery disk with CD/DVD or USB on another computer.
1. Download and install Windows Password Rescuer Advanced on another computer.
2. Plug a USB flash drive to the computer and launch the software. Choose “USB Device”.
3. Pull down the drive list and select your USB. Then click “Begin Burning”.
4. For a moment, the software will automatically create a password recovery disk for you.
Step 2: Use the disk to reset local/domain administrator password on your Windows server 2019 computer.
1. Insert the password recovery disk (Burned USB) into your Windows server 2019 computer. Power on the computer and set it to boot from USB. Read more about how to boot computer from USB if you have trouble to do this.
2. When your computer boots from USB, Windows Password Rescuer Advanced will automatically run and load local/domain user accounts of Windows server 2019. From following screen, select “Windows server 2019”.
3. Next, select “Administrator”.
4. Click “Reset Password” button.
5. When it asks you if reset the password to blank, click “OK”.
6. The administrator password will be removed and shown “blank” in list.
7. Now click “Reboot”.
8. When a dialog pops up, unplug your USB disk and then click “Yes”.
9. The computer will restart automatically. Once following screen appears, press CTRL-ALT-DEL keys to unlock it.
10. It will automatically log on administrator without password. After that, don’t forget to create a new password for your local/domain administrator.
Method 2: Remove Windows Server 2019 Domain Admin Password with Chntpw.
If you forget domainadministrator password and cannot log on domain controller, you can use Windows Password Rescuer to remove the password easily and safely. You also can use another program to help remove the forgotten local admin password from Windows server 2019.
Chntpw is a free Windows password remover which can help remove local/domain account password for Windows system. I have tested it in Windows 7/Vista/XP or Windows serve 2003, 3008 and 2019. It works fine. Now let’s see the step-by-step guide about how to remove administrator password from Windows server 2019. There are about 13 steps.
1. Download Chntpw ISO image file and then burn it onto a writable CD/DVD. After that, insert the CD/DVD into your Windows server 2019 computer.
2. Restart the server computer to boot from CD/DVD. It is necessary to set the computer to boot from CD/DVD if you never did this.
3. Once following screen appears, press a key to continue.
4. The computer will load Chntpw. Press “Enter” key until the following screen appears. Type “1” and then hit “Enter”.
5. Type “1” and then hit “Enter” to select “Password Reset” and scroll to next.
6. Type “1” and then hit “Enter” to select “Edit user data and passwords” and scroll to next.
7. All local user accounts of Windows server 2019 will be shown on the screen. Type “Administrator” and then press “Enter”.
8. Scroll to next, type “1” and then press “Enter” to select “Clear user password”.
9. When it tell you “password cleared”, type “!” and press “Enter”.
10. Next, type “q” and then press “Enter”.
11. About to write files back? Type “y” and then press “Enter”.
12. It will ask you if try again. Type “n” and then press “Enter”.
13. OK, now remove your CD/DVD and then press CTRL-ALT-DEL keys to restart the computer. After that, you are able to log into Windows server 2019 as administrator without entering password.
If you wouldn’t like to reset your password, you can use Windows Password Rescuer Advanced to easily create a local/domain admin account to your Windows server 2019 without logging. Then you can use the new admin account and password to unlock/hack Windows server 2019 without old password on your server computer.
