Dear Admin.

As a long standing member of your group, I would like to notify you of a setting / option that Flickr has not too long ago created that restricts groups like yours and stops them hitting their full potential by restricting users photos uploaded to the group.

This new setting / option is most restrictive on regular members but it does also affect Pro members too.

As an admin myself of a popular group, I know how strangled and restricted my group has become recently since the new setting / option was introduced, however after opting out of this setting 3 months ago my group has grown from strength to strength.

To opt out, the admin of the group needs to follow these steps:

1. Go to your groups page.
2. Click "Administration" tap at the top of the groups page.
3. Click "Moderating your Group" - found in the first column.
4. Third question down, click "Yes - this group doesn't care how many other groups a photo is in.
5. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click "SAVE THIS”.
