Ryan Seacrest is ready to play some Wheel of Fortune, and fans have a lot to say about it!

One year after it was announced he would be replacing Pat Sajak as host, the TV personality finally made his game show debut on September 9. With Vanna White by his side, Ryan got into the groove of being a game show host with the introduction of a new era ... and a new set to boot. As folks tuned in to watch him make his way across the Wheel of Fortune stage for the first time, the show's social team gave fans a treat by posting Ryan's first introduction on Instagram.

"Introducing, for the very first time, our hosts: Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White!" the caption read. "Let’s play some Wheel of Fortune 🎉 💪."

Upon seeing Ryan get into the groove on Wheel of Fortune, folks were ecstatic about seeing him take the stage for the first time.

"Beautifully said, Ryan! Wheel Watchers everywhere welcome you with open arms!" one person wrote. "He was sooooo good!!! Fits right in. Go Ryan!!" another declared.

That said, when watching Ryan's first episode of Wheel of Fortune, some fans had a concern about the aesthetic of the new set. They felt it could potentially cause some misfires among audiences.

"He did great! But that set is dizzying and distracting and just awful," one person voiced. "I'm getting a headache with the set moving," another noted. "I don’t like the new set. Too busy for the eyes," a different viewer expressed.

No matter the case, we're thrilled to see what this new era of Wheel of Fortune brings! As Ryan noted in his opening speech, he's excited for the new venture and being on a show with such an iconic TV history.

"Thank you for the very warm welcome," he stated in the clip. "Hosting Wheel of Fortune is a dream job. I've been a fan of this show since I was a kid, watching it in Atlanta with my family. I know how special it is that Wheel has been in your living rooms for the past 40 years. I'm just so grateful to be invited in."

We're looking forward to seeing what's next!
