Hi Friends Happy Thursday!
I know we have all shared our mantels this fall and our pretty displays.
When I shared my little library mantel a week or so ago,
I promised to share my rock fireplace mantel from the living room.
This room is more like a sitting room and music room of sorts.
My piano is here and the sound system for music we pipe inside and out.
The mantel is high on the rock wall of the fireplace
and I love to change it out with the seasons.
This year for a fall look I'm using a framed work of art called, Evening in Tuscany.
I simply leaned this piece on the mantel among
a vine of leaves, scattered pumpkins, candles and a few anchor pieces.
Keeping it light and simply with the color lighter too.
On one end I've added a little height using some spiked leaves in a creamy dragon fly vase.
The stone verse on the easel is a gift from a dear friend.
On the other end of the mantel I have added a garden girl bust,
vintage school books, and pumpkins mixed among the vine.
To the center is a faux candle that I added a graphic using the waterslide method
and a few brown glass tea light holders shaped like fall leaves.
The hearth has a few pumpkins on each side.
To the iron screen I hung a fall berry wreath for a little color.
To the fire box, I've added 7 faux candles in a variety of shapes on timers.
These come on each evening giving a warm cozy glow.
It's hard to get a straight on photo of this mantel as there is a wall of windows across the room.
The light and the windows show in the glass of the art print making it very hard to see.
But I think you get the idea.
I can leave this mantel through Thanksgiving.
There are so many wonderful mantel displays in blogland this season
and so much inspiration.
Thank you for stopping by.
I love it when you visit and thank you for your comments.
See you soon.
Have a great fall day filled with Southern DayDreams!
