Perhaps unexpectedly, the Canadian furniture market has grown to be among the largest in the world by revenue, ranking second in North America and seventh on a global scale.

Leading retailers in Canada
The Home Depot, Leon’s Furniture Limited and Sleep Country are some of the more prominent retailers in the Canadian furniture market. Out of the 2,335 Home Depot stores in North America, about 180 are scattered across Canada. Out of all provinces and territories, Ontario was home to the most Home Depot stores in the country, with Alberta and British Columbia coming in second and third, respectively.
