The turnover of the civil engineering industry in the European Union increased by 14.9 billion euros (+5.2 percent) since the previous year. With 301.52 billion euros, the turnover thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. Turnover is defined by Eurostat as the total of all sales (excluding VAT) of goods and services carried out by the enterprises of a given sector during the reference period.
