This category is for canon middle-grade novels (ages 9–12) and sometimes referred to as junior novels. Categorization is based on the Disney–Lucasfilm Press website's target age ranges "9–12 Years Old"

Note that articles placed in this category differ from young-reader novels (ages 0–6) and young-adult novels (ages 12+). For example, The Force Awakens: Rey's Story is a chapter book for "6–8" where as Guardians of the Whills is a novel for the "9–12" and Ahsoka is a novel, but it is in their "Young Adult" (12+) age range, making them all in different categories
