Power and Spark Challenge - May Flowers
There is nothing better than flowers in May and nobody draws them prettier than Marcella Hawley over at Power Poppy. This is one of her digital designs as is the sentiment. They are so fun to color and I used my copic markers to do my coloring. I kept this clean and simple because it is easy to mail and the beauty of Marcella's artwork stands alone without a lot of fluff to be added. I simply added a goldenrod cardstock that was punched with a Martha Stewart punch for a bottom border.

Hi Everyone, Maryann is here again with her last Challenge for May, and according to the National date calendar today is National Blueberry Cheesecake day, so with this in mind for inspiration create your card.
I have to admit this was quite a challenge for me as I could not seem to work the cheesecake part into my card. I also could not get my only blueberries stamp to do what I wanted it to do, so I just am letting the pearls I colored blue with a copic marker be my berries. The inside says:" Just add these to your favorite cheesecake and have a wonderful blueberry cheesecake day!!"
We'd love to have you play along. All you have to do is create something using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1621. Don't forget to link it on Inlinkz over on the CCEEStampers blog site so that everyone else can see your card too.

Maryann again is the hostess for this week's challenge. She found this tutorial on splitcoast stampers on making a four way card.
Four Way Card Tutorial
So the challenge was certainly on for me. Somehow I can't even follow directions, so my 4 way card ended up being a three way card. I just simply could not start over again. These are labor driven for me. LOL Hope you like my attempt.

Please join us and link your card up using the Inlinkz tool at the ccee blog site here. If you upload to another site such as Splitcoaststampers, please add CCEE1620 to your keywords.
I used Sweet and Sassy Stamps' verves, and the cross diecut is from Verve.

MaryAnn is our hostess for today's challenge.
According to the National calendar today is National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day
It is a chronic disease that MaryAnn has, and it is often called the invisible disease because you don't look ill. There is no cure but maybe some day they will be. So Please make a Get Well card and add a purple ribbon.
I used the Zinnia set from Flourishes for this card. Since fibromyalgia is something that is not cured, I decided to use the sentiment "cheer up" in hopes that my card will uplift someone's spirit.
Please visit the CCEEstampers.blogspot to view the other team members' cards, and join in the challange and link your card here.
Share Joy Challenge
Each week I try to take part in a new challenge that I have not done before. I was lucky to have found this one on Harriet Skelly's challenge board on Pinterest. I needed to make a few of sympathy cards, which are always the most difficult to make. So here is where you can find the Share Joy Challenge.
This is being sent to a father who lost his 13 year old daughter recently. I hope it will bring him comfort knowing that many have him in our prayers.

I had some extra time today, so I decided to try a few of the other challenges I don't always have time to take part in. Today I chose to do the Crazy for Challenges this week. It was to use emerald green on the card. It's a month of birthdays, graduations, and Mother's day so a few extra cards in the stash are always handy.

CCEE1618 Lighthouses
Our MAY hostess is Maryann.
Recently she had holidays at the beach and saw some beautiful lighthouses along the coast, so she is asking us to let there be light and add a lighthouse to our cards.
We'd love to have you play along. All you have to do is create something using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1618. Don't forget to link it to the link on the blogsite: CCEEStampers
I used this pretty stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs for my card. I added some diecut gulls in addition to the ones that are on the stamp.

Checking over at the Paper Players challenge today, I found the challenge was to use a bicycle on the card. I seem to be short a few birthday cards, so I made this quick one and used up some scraps from my paper pile. I love doing that!
