The Curia is a religious order in the games Nights of Azure and Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon. The Curia was founded in the 11th century during the Holy War to protect mankind from the threat of the Eternal Night. After the sudden disappearance of Pope Ludegert after the Ruswal Incident, the organization fell apart briefly before being reformed by the new Three Popes.

Notable Members[]
Pope Ludegert - The First Saint who, according to legend, sealed away the Nightlord. Founder of the Curia and holds the title of Pope, the highest-ranking title in the organization.
Corrine - Ludegert's personal attendant. A Holy Knight who has served the Curia since the days of the Nightlord eight hundred years before.
Arnice - A Holy Knight who has served the Curia for many years, ever since she survived being exposed to the Blue Blood. She was meant to bring the Last Saint to Ludegert, but defected when she found out the true intentions of the Pope.
Lilysse - The Last Saint who was to be sacrificed at the Blue Altar to seal away the Nightlord, but whose life was saved by Arnice when it was discovered that Ludegert had been lying about the purpose of the ritual all along.
Aluche Anatoria - A Holy Knight of the reformed Curia sworn to protect the world. Tasked with the protection of the Bride of Time and slaying of fiends.
Liliana Selphin - A Bride of Time candidate ordered by the Curia to be sacrificed in order to seal the Moon Queen away, thus preventing the spread of the Eternal Night.
Ruenheid Ariarhod (formerly) - Once a loyal and oath-bound Holy Knight, she now works for the Lourdes Order, opposing the Curia for their scheme to sacrifice Liliana to the Moon Queen. This opposition has lead to a complicated relationship with her former friends, who both remain loyal to the Curia.
Muveil Folin Lou (formerly) - A former Holy Knight captain, she fell victim to the seduction of darkness and became a demon, leaving the Curia behind. She was later saved by Aluche, restoring some of her respect for the organization, but not enough loyalty to make her consider rejoining.
