If there’s one person who deserves to be treated to an extra special gift this holiday season, it’s most definitely the moms in our lives! Not only is my mom my confidant, number one fan and rock in life, she’s also super-grandma to six grandbabies, super-mom to five kids (who all still call her daily!), the best holiday host around and the most selfless and giving person I know! Y’all…can you believe we’re just 19 days away from Christmas?! The holidays are in full swing which means that gift list could use a few check marks here & there! 😉 We did some gift shopping over the weekend and scooped up some Christmas-y decor for our abode (it was in desperate need!), it was so nice to get things done early…feeling somewhat ahead of the game (which is a rarity given that I am SO disorganized and definitely not the “planner” type..!). As we all know…guys are quite challenging to shop for! If you’re like me, you like to give gifts with a little more meaning behind them and not just something you tossed in last minute at the checkout line…as in, it’s fun to ensure the gift is fitting for the person receiving it. For example – a cool new chemex coffee maker for the fella who’s into coffee and maybe a fun mug or two to coincide, or a neat way to store records (see the top right) and you could even throw in a couple of his favorite records he doesn’t have in his collection just yet.
