Declaring War (宣戦, Sensen) is the 63rd chapter of the Kekkaishi Manga written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe.

Summary

Aihi issues the improved human skin disguises to four Kokuboro subordinates. However, Kaguro chooses to keep wearing the older model, considering its limitations a fun challenge. He asks if Aihi wants to become human, but she claims they are nothing more than research subjects to her.

On the roof of his school, Yoshimori wonders how he could end the fued between the Sumimuras and the Yukimuras. He recognizes that their grandparents are the main problem, but figures he and Tokine are fine, even though she is currently annoyed at him. He recalls the way she used to always save him and play with him when they were kids. Gen Shishio arrives without warning, making Yoshimori self-conscious.

Kaguro's team infiltrates Karasumori Academy during the day. They head straight for Yoshimori's classroom looking for him, but he isn't there. Instead of looking for Tokine next, they break into the broadcast room and announce themselves as members of Kokuboro. They invite the Kekkaishi to meet them at "the usual place" that night. Tokine, Yoshimori, and Gen rush to find Kaguro's team. Yoshimori and Gen spot them as they exit the school, but Yoshimori stops Gen from fighting because people would see him transform.
