Hallo meine Lieben,
da hab ich was nettes bei der Mondtochter gefunden.
Auf der Seite von "My Heritage" finden sie deinen sogenannten Promidoppelgänger . Das Morphingresultat seht ihr hier.
Mann hab ich ein lück, das ich die Doppelgänger der wunderschönen Kate Winslet bin.
Aber die Ähnlichkeit ist auch unverkennbar ( Gelächter)
Probierts mal aus.

in der letzten Zeit waren viele Kunstdiebe im Netz unterwegs, die Bilder anderer Künstler kopierten und teilweise auch verkauften.
Das ist schlechter Stil und unsportlich. Marsha Jorgensen vom Tumble Fish Studio hat eine Kampagne gestartet, die Aufklärung zum Thema und die Bildunger einer neuen flickr- Gruppe zu diesem Thema, beinhaltet. Ihr könnt euch eingehender informieren, wenn ihr hier klickt. Wenn ihr der Gruppe beitreten wollt lest bitte die unten aufgeführten Regeln.

Meine Lieben Freunde,
es gibt einiges zu feiern.
Ich kann wieder Bilder hochladen.
(Es lag an der ich Größe. Bisher habe ich meine Bilder fotografiert und diesmal war es ein Scan und der war 10 Mal so groß (23Mb) wie die Photos).
Dieses ist mein 50ster Post!
Das Bild "Das Photoatelier" ist mein 33stes Bild.
Und mein Blog hat annähernd 3000 clicks.
Und das alles hab ich euch zu verdanken.
Ohne eure Anteilnahme und Unterstützung hätte ich nicht weitergemalt. Eure Kommentare und aufmunternden Worte bedeuten mir sehr viel und obwohl ihr euch in allen möglichen Teilen der Welt befindet und wir uns aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach nie persönlich kennenlernen werden, finde ich bei euch eine ganz besonderen Art der Freundschaft die viel persönlicher ist, als ich das jemals gedacht hätte.
Deshalb möchte ich euch etwas schenken.
Was das sein wird entscheidet ihr selber.
Die drei Gewinner erhalten einen Druck des Bildes, das ihnen am besten gefällt. there are a lot reasons to celebrate.
I can add pictures to the blog again!
( The images where just to big. Usually I make photos of them but this time I made a scan. It was ten times as big (23 MB) than the photos).
This is my 50th post.
The painting "The photographic studio" is my 33rd painting.
I my blog has almost 3000 clicks.
And this is all because of you.
Without your sympathies and support I wouldn´t have go on painting.
Your comments and cheering words do really mean a lot to me. Allthough you folks live in all parts of the world and as likely as not we will never meet, I found a special kind of friendship here, that is much more personal as I thought.
Therefor I have a gift for you.

as the Beales used to sing. For three days now, I can´t add photos to my blog. It just doesn´t work. Did anybody of you had that Problem before, and if yes, what can I do against it.

Summertime...

Von wegen!
Draußen schaut es aus, als ob der Herbst schon vor der Tür steht.
Und mir ist heute gar nicht so leicht ums Herz.
In der gleichen Sommer- herbei- sehnenden Stimmung war ich als ich im Winter dieses Bild gemalt habe.
Vielleicht kommt er ja wieder, der Sommer.

Ihr seid wunderbar/ You are wonderful

Meine Lieben Freunde,
meine kleine Prinzessin hat ein Päckchen bekommen. Was mag es wohl beinhalten?
Ich habe selber zwei mal Post bekommen und zwar von der schönsten Sorte.
Ich habe hier so viele talentierte wunderbare Künstlerinnen kennen gelernt.
Am liebsten hätte ich von allen ein Bild zuhause.
Den Anfang machte ein Bild das ich bei Julie- Anns Giveaway gewonnen habe.
Nun habe ich Bilder von Tascha Parkinson und Catherine Holman gekauft.
Die beiden machen den Anfang, aber die letzten werden es nicht sein.
Und dann hab ich noch was nettes bei der Mondtochter gefunden.
Nämlich die Hotline zum Daily Prophet.
Ein Schmankeln für Harry Potter Fans. Ich finde ich mache mich ganz gut auf dem Titelblatt.

My dear friends, my little princess got a package. What may be inside? I got two big letters this week with wonderful content. Since I am blogging I learned to know so many talented and wonderful artists. I would love to have a piece of art from all of you. Well, the start made a wonderful little print I won from Julie- Anns giveaway. Now I bought prints of Tascha Parkinson and Catherine Holman. This won´t be the last. And than I have found something nice on the blog of Whispering Moon. It is the hotline to the Daily Prophet. A must for Harry Potter fans I suppose. Ain´t I a lovely headline.

"Frauen sind fabelhaft..... Männer auch".
Mehr braucht man dazu eigentlich nicht zu sagen.
Mit diesen beiden Mixed- Media- Bildern verabschiede ich mich ins Wochenende.
Mein Fuß ist soweit wieder hergestellt. Am Montag kann ich wieder anfangen zu arbeiten,
aber vielleicht gehe ich morgen mal wieder in ein Museum oder eine Galerie ;0)

"Cool Art" fridge magnet

Hallo meine Freunde,
Man nehme dünnes Holz und säge es in kleine Stücke, klebe Leinwand darüber, bemale das Ganze und klebe einen Magneten auf die Rückseite, fertig ist der Kühlschrankmagnet.
Das nenne ich kuhle Kunst. Mein Freund Albert hat das Ganze erst mal umarangiert.
So geht es auch!
Vielleicht mach ich ein ganzes Alphabet. (Wir haben einen großen Kühlschrank und spielen Beide gern rum)

Hello my friends,
Take a thin wood- board and saw it in little pieces, glue cancas above it, paint it and finaly glue a magnet on the back-side and ready is the fridge- magnet.
That´s what I call cool art. My boyfriend Albert rearanged it immediatly.
That works too!
Maybe I make the whole alphabet. (We have a big refridgerator, and both like to play)

"Sonderangebot" und ein Preis / "Bargain" and an award

Meine lieben Freunde,
ich habe dieses Mixed- Media Bild mit dem Titel, "Das Sonderangebot" fertig gestellt.
Die Anzeigen im Hintergrund sind aus dem "Händler- Journal" von 1927.
Ganz neu ist der "Premio Meme Award" der mir von der talentierten Künstlerin Jill verliehen wurde. Vielen lieben Dank!
Nach den Regeln soll ich 7 Dinge über mich verraten und den Preis meinerseits an 7 Blogger weiterreichen.
Nun denn:
1. Ich bin süchtig nach Schokoladeneis
2. Ich reise für mein Leben gern und so oft Zeit und Geld es zulassen
3. Ich male meistens am Abend, und oft viel länger als ich sollte

I just finished this mixed- media- painting I titeled "The bargain".
The advertisement in the backgroung is from a, so- called Traders- journal from 1927.

New is the Premio Meme Award that was given to me by the talented artist Jill. Thank you so much!
According to the rules I am to share 7 facts about myself & then pass the award on the 7 others.
Well then:
1. I am addicted to chocolate- icecream
2. I love to travel and do that as often as money and time allow me to.
3. Usually I paint in the evening and often longer as I should
4. I would love to exhibit my paintings one day (maybe I will)

Meine Mitbewohner / My housemates

Meine lieben Freunde,
ich hab euch letztens Bilder meiner Heimatstadt gezeigt und heute sind Katzen dran. Stella und Rossi sind die langjährigen Mitbewohner von mir und meinem Freund Albert.
Stella und ihr kleiner Sohn Rossi kamen vor 11 Jahren zu mir und haben mir seit dem so viel Freude bereitet. Stella ist nicht mehr die Jüngste aber noch gut beieinander. Es soll ja Katzen geben die 20 Jahre alt werden und jeder der eine Katze hat, hofft das es bei seiner so ist.
Mein Mädchen ist ganz verschmust aber kann auch eifersüchtig und eine rechte Zicke sein. Rossi ist ein Schelm, unkompliziert und (ich schwöre es euch) ein Kater mit Humor.

My dear friends,
I showed you lately some photos of my hometown and today I want to show you some of my cats. Stella and Rossi are my boyfriend Alberts and my housemates for many years now.
Stella and her baby- son Rossi came to me 11 years ago, and since then they brought so much joy into my life. Stella isn´t the youngest anymore but still fit. There should be cats that become 20 years old, and every cat-owner hopes that it is his.
Stella is a very cuddly kitty but she can be very touchy and jalouse too. Rossi is my little jester, absolutly uncomplicated and (I swear) he has a lot of humor.

mein kleiner Waschbär hat einen Brief von einem Freund bekommen, genauso wie ich selber.

Wovon Katzen träumen/ What cats dream of

Meine lieben Freunde,
wovon träumen Katzen?
Wenn ich mir meinen Rossi ansehen, ( er stand Modell für dieses Bild) dann bin ich mir sicher, es geht ums Essen.
Mein Freund Albert meinte, er glaubt sie träumen von Katzenmüsli. Da schwimmen in der Milch keine Haferflocken und Früchte sondern Mäuse. Das brachte mich auf "Milky Mouse", denn die schwimmt sogar in Milch (hehehe).

what do cats dream of?
When I look at my tomcat Rossi, (he was the model for that painting) than I am sure, it is about food.
My boyfriend Albert said, that he thinks they dream about a special cat- muesli. With no cerials and fruit but mice swimming in the milk. That leads me to "Milky Mouse".
When I was a child there was this Milky Way commercial in television. One mother asked the other if she could give this chocolate- bar to her children. And the other one said, that she can do that certainly. Then she puts the "Milky-Way in a bowl of milk and said : "It is so light it swims even in milk".
You see... (hehehe)
