my favorite thing about cronenberg he always sluts out his lead actor & I thank him for that. a futuristic depiction of mourning & grieving. pretty solid work, gorgeous production design & cinematography. guy pearce proves yet again why he’s one of the greats.

I did like the different animation styles, the goofy goober peanut guy makes a cameo but also I’ve come to the conclusion watching bad movies is very therapeutic

bong joon-ho delivers yet again another cinematic marvel. such creative, visually stunning & compelling storytelling. satisfying sci-fi emotional & wacky social commentary on free will and politics. the entire ensemble is astounding you can tell they all had a blast in these roles. especially mark ruffalo & toni collette. I loved how they acted as if they were cartoonish villains. robert pattinson is beyond brilliant; the different voice work and different physicalities he showcases while playing these roles is genius. you would think…

okay woah.. I didn’t know much about robbie williams going into this but his story and the way it was told moved me. i thought to myself such an unserious and yet unique concept for a biopic/musical that shouldn’t or just couldn’t work..showing robbie as he sees himself which surprisingly made me laugh, brought me to tears & emotionally wreck me. I enjoyed the songs & the musical sequences were also so well choreographed and directed. overall this is exceeded my expectations.

uninspired my bloody valentine copycat. which in fact just watch the original & remake mbv and or valentine (2001) instead.
I have to say the kills were cool/gory but what seriously is the most laughable part about this (not counting some of the cheesy cringy dialogue) is the killers motive and reveal.. considering it was literally spoiled in the trailer now thinking back to it… I did enjoy the opening & the carousel sequence but that’s mainly it. this is what some of you were dick riding because you have no back bone? what a joke.

seemingly romantic comedy that leans into the more darker side of a relationship.. ray nicholson being type cast as a unhinged sociopath and you know what I’m not mad about it! solid direction & a great lead performance from sofia black-d’elia plus cazzie david & jon rudnitsky are hilarious together
