Z-O-M-B-I-E-S is a four-movie science-fiction/supernatural-drama/musical franchise on the Disney Channel. The original premiered in 2018 to massive tween audiences. It was directed by Paul Hoen with music by George S. Clinton and Amit May Cohen. The cast reunites for three additional sequels.
The plot largely centers on the friendship and romance between Zed, a zombie, and Addison, a half-human/half-alien cheerleader. The two, and their friends, endure a number of threats to their fragile alliance at Seabrook High. The second film begins after a groundbreaking semester at the school, as a new group of outsiders — mysterious Werewolves — threaten the campus' newfound unity and cause a rift between Zed and Addison. The third film begins after what happened in Addison's Moonstone/Monster Mystery with the crew being in their senior year of High School, when a new group of outsiders - Aliens - arrive and prevent Zed from getting into the same college as Addison.
Based on the book Zombies & Cheerleaders by David Light and Joseph Raso, the films follow the same plot.
