Remote Court Proceedings
Remote video proceedings via Zoom
Parties will be notified by the clerk's office if their hearing is scheduled via Zoom.
If a court is closed due to inclement weather, all court events, including but not limited to remote events such as I/Cs, remote criminal and civil hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences are also postponed. Please note, however, that remote traffic trials (for traffic infraction cases) will proceed as scheduled unless the Violations Bureau is listed below as closed. During inclement weather, please check the court alerts page.

Telephonic hearings
Parties who receive a notice of hearing to be conducted by video may be permitted to participate by phone if they do not have access to the internet. Please notify the clerk's office where your case is scheduled as soon as possible if you need to join by phone.

Requesting That Your Proceeding be Held Remotely
If you are scheduled to appear for a court proceeding in person, you may request to appear remotely by video or by telephone as an accommodation for a disability or for other good reason. To do so, file the Motion for Alternative Format for Court Proceeding (MJB Form CR-CV-FM-260) with the clerk’s office before the date of your proceeding. If the court grants your request, you will receive a notice with new instructions on how to appear by video or telephone.
If you have a question on ADA accessibility, contact the Court Access Coordinator at [email protected] or see the Judicial Branch ADA Accessibility webpage.
