Bret Michaels

Bret Michael Sychak (born March 15, 1963), professionally known as Bret Michaels, is an American singer-songwriter, musician, actor, director, screenwriter, producer, and reality television personality. He first gained fame as the lead vocalist of the glam metal band Poison who have sold over 45 million records worldwide and 15 million records in the United States alone. The band has also charted ten singles to the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, including six Top 10 singles and the number-one single, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn".

Besides his career as lead singer, he has several solo albums to his credit, including the soundtrack album to the movie A Letter from Death Row in which Michaels starred, wrote and directed in 1998, and a classic Poison-style rock album, Songs of Life, in 2003. Michaels has appeared in several movies and TV shows, including as a judge on the talent show Nashville Star which led to his country influenced rock album Freedom of Sound in 2005. He starred in the hit VH1 reality show Rock of Love with Bret Michaels and its sequels, which inspired his successful solo album Rock My World. He was also the winning contestant on NBC's reality show Celebrity Apprentice 3 and also featured in his own reality docu-series Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It, which inspired his highest charting album as a solo artist, Custom Built, reaching No. 1 on Billboard's Hard Rock list. He is also known for hosting on the Travel Channel. In 2006, Hit Parader ranked Michaels at #40 on their list of greatest Heavy metal singers of all-time.

Robert Harry Kuykendall also known as Bobby Dall (born November 2, 1963,Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania) is an American musician best known as the bassist for the multi-platinum selling Hard rock band, Poison. The band have sold over 45 million records worldwide and have sold 15 million records in the United States alone. The band has also charted ten singles to the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, including six Top 10 singles and the Hot 100 number-one, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn".

Dall had ambitions of studying law, but ultimately turned to music instead. He began playing guitar but switched to bass at the age of 15. Dall later moved to Los Angeles with Bret Michaels, Rikki Rockett, and Matt Smith to play with the band Paris, which later became known as Poison.

Personal life

Dall is the youngest of three children. He moved to Florida with his family for a short time, but relocated to Harrisburg when he was still young.

Dall has two children: Zachary Brandon (born December 16, 1990) and Zoe Brianne (born January 9, 1997).

Biography

Richard Allan Ream was born on August 8, 1961 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, the youngest of two children of Norman and Margaret Ream. He attended Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill. Before founding Poison with vocalist Bret Michaels, Rockett worked as a hairdresser, lifeguard, dishwasher, Emergency Medical Technician and a suit salesman.

Rockett was always an integral part of Poison's success featuring on every Poison album ever released. The tattoo photo featured on Poison's 1990 album Flesh and Blood is Rockett's right shoulder. The logo was already done a couple of years prior but he added "Flesh and Blood" in support of the title. The original album cover still has the blood running from the new tattoo though it was airbrushed out soon after its release.

Richie Kotzen

Richard Dale "Richie" Kotzen, Jr. (born February 3, 1970) is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer. Currently he is touring with The Winery Dogs with Mike Portnoy and Billy Sheehan, supporting an album they recorded in Los Angeles in August 2012. Kotzen is signed to California-based Shrapnel Records.

Biography

Richie Kotzen began playing piano at the age of five. At the age of seven he was inspired by the band KISS to learn the electric guitar. He started his career in a band named Arthurs Museum. Kotzen was eventually discovered by Shrapnel Records' Mike Varney, and he recorded his first solo album by the age of 19. He created the video Rock Chops for REH video in 1989, highlighting many of his formative techniques, including using wide-intervals and fluid sweeping.

In 1991, at age 21, Kotzen joined glam-metal band Poison, co-writing and performing on the album Native Tongue. This album produced two top twenty singles which Kotzen co-wrote, "Stand" and "Until You Suffer Some (Fire & Ice)".

Having been touring and working together non-stop for six years straight the tensions between singer Bret Michaels and guitarist C.C. DeVille were growing not helping was C.C. DeVille drug addiction at the time and at one show in New Orleans a few months before their VMA performance, the pair would come to blows and in June of 1991 Poison would cancel subsequent tour dates for their flesh and blood tour and rumors started to swirl that poison was done. Fast forward now to the MTV VMAs and the band was set to perform on Unskinny Bop. There was even warning signs the awards show that their performance was going to be a disaster here's a clip of C.C.. C.C. we got Don Henley coming up Just as poison took the stage I've heard a couple different stories of what actually happened so one story I've heard is that C.C. DeVille didn't want to perform on Unskinny Bop instead he wants to play Talk Dirty To Me. Another story I've heard is that Brett Michaels asked the audience if they were ready to talk dirty to me which confused C.C. DeVille as the band transition from playing on skinny Bob to talk dirty to me C.C's guitar will get unplugged even host Arsenio Hall tries to save the performance by reintroducing the band a second time and after the performance poison will get into a fistfight backstage and that would pretty much be the end of CC Deville's time in the band for almost half a decade here's part of their MTV performance Oh [Applause] I want to make love you never stop Come up for air you push me to the floor What's been going on in hear. Well all night and day. sing it. unskinny bop just blows me away. Well actually they need no introduction right? I'll give him one anyway. Poison! Let's get down to it and get ready to play. Hit it C.C.Call you on the telephone I'm only hoping that you're home So I can hear you When you say those words to me And whisper so softly I gotta hear her 'Cause baby we'll be At the drive-in In the old man's Ford following the performance C.C Deville be out of the band and replaced by ritchie kotzen while deville would cling to his drug addiction and start a solo career the band would release their follow-up record Native Tongue that represented a huge change in sound for the group and while i was praised by critics the rise of alternative rock overshadowed the album and hurt sales and the band's new sound was more blues oriented and their new songs seemed to shed their party image take on more serious subject matter and while things seem to be clicking for the group new guitarist Richie Kotzen would end up having an affair with Rikki Rockets fiance at the time and his time and the band was over. Poison began recording its sixth studio album crack a smile in early 1994 but the sessions came to an abrupt end in May of that year when singer Brett Michael's was involved in a horrific car crash where he suffered a broken nose ribs jaw and fingers and lost four teeth and by 1995 the band was ready to finish up work on the record but their label had a different idea. They wanted a greatest hits compilation instead and it would be a smart move as the greatest his compilation album would be put out in l

Having been touring and working together non-stop for six years straight the tensions between singer Bret Michaels and guitarist C.C. DeVille were growing not helping was C.C. DeVille drug addiction at the time and at one show in New Orleans a few months before their VMA performance, the pair would come to blows and in June of 1991 Poison would cancel subsequent tour dates for their flesh and blood tour and rumors started to swirl that poison was done. Fast forward now to the MTV VMAs and the band was set to perform on Unskinny Bop. There was even warning signs the awards show that their performance was going to be a disaster here's a clip of C.C.. DeVille prior to poisons performance you can see he's pretty much out of his mind at this point, Having fun wow everybody''s getting a lot of thank you's. C.C. we got Don Henley coming up Just as poison took the stage I've heard a couple different stories of what actually happened so one story I've heard is that C.C. DeVille didn't want to perform on Unskinny Bop instead he wants to play Talk Dirty To Me. Another story I've heard is that Brett Michaels asked the audience if they were ready to talk dirty to me which confused C.C. DeVille as the band transition from playing on skinny Bob to talk dirty to me C.C's guitar will get unplugged even host Arsenio Hall tries to save the performance by reintroducing the band a second time and after the performance poison will get into a fistfight backstage and that would pretty much be the end of CC Deville's time in the band for almost half a decade here's part of their MTV performance Oh [Applause] I want to make love you never stop Come up for air you push me to the floor What's been going on in hear. Well all night and day. sing it. unskinny bop just blows me away. Well actually they need no introduction right? I'll give him one anyway. Poison! Let's get down to it and get ready to play. Hit it C.C.Call you on the telephone I'm only hoping that you're home So I can hear you When you say those words to me And whisper so softly I gotta hear her 'Cause baby we'll be At the drive-in In the old man's Ford following the performance C.C Deville be out of the band and replaced by ritchie kotzen while deville would cling to his drug addiction and start a solo career the band would release their follow-up record Native Tongue that represented a huge change in sound for the group and while i was praised by critics the rise of alternative rock overshadowed the album and hurt sales and the band's new sound was more blues oriented and their new songs seemed to shed their party image take on more serious subject matter and while things seem to be clicking for the group new guitarist Richie Kotzen would end up having an affair with Rikki Rockets fiance at the time and his time and the band was over. Poison began recording its sixth studio album crack a smile in early 1994 but the sessions came to an abrupt end in May of that year when singer Brett Michael's was involved in a horrific car crash where he suffered a broken nose ribs jaw and fingers and lost four teeth and by 1995 the band was ready to finish up work on the record but their label had a different idea. Having been touring and working together non-stop for six years straight the tensions between singer Bret Michaels and guitarist C.C. DeVille were growing not helping was C.C. DeVille drug addiction at the time and at one show in New Orleans a few months before their VMA performance, the pair would come to blows and in June of 1991 Poison would cancel subsequent tour dates for their flesh and blood tour and rumors started to swirl that poison was done. Fast forward now to the MTV VMAs and the band was set to perform on Unskinny Bop. There was even warning signs the awards show that their performance was going to be a disaster here's a clip of C.C.. DeVille prior to poisons performance you can see he's pretty much out of his mind at this point, Having fun wow everybody''s getting a lot of thank you's. C.C. we got Don Henley coming up Just as poison took the stage I've heard a couple different stories of what actually happened so one story I've heard is that C.C. DeVille didn't want to perform on Unskinny Bop instead he wants to play Talk Dirty To Me. Another story I've heard is that Brett Michaels asked the audience if they were ready to talk dirty to me which confused C.C. DeVille as the band transition from playing on skinny Bob to talk dirty to me C.C's guitar will get unplugged even host Arsenio Hall tries to save the performance by reintroducing the band a second time and after the performance poison will get into a fistfight backstage and that would pretty much be the end of CC Deville's time in the band for almost half a decade here's part of their MTV performance Oh [Applause] I want to make love you never stop Come up for air you push me to the floor What's been going on in hear. Well all night and day. sing it. unskinny bop just blows me away. Well actually they need no introduction right? I'll give him one anyway. Poison! Let's get down to it and get ready to play. Hit it C.C.Call you on the telephone I'm only hoping that you're home So I can hear you When you say those words to me And whisper so softly I gotta hear her 'Cause baby we'll be At the drive-in In the old man's Ford following the performance C.C Deville be out of the band and replaced by ritchie kotzen while deville would cling to his drug addiction and start a solo career the band would release their follow-up record Native Tongue that represented a huge change in sound for the group and while i was praised by critics the rise of alternative rock overshadowed the album and hurt sales and the band's new sound was more blues oriented and their new songs seemed to shed their party image take on more serious subject matter and while things seem to be clicking for the group new guitarist Richie Kotzen would end up having an affair with Rikki Rockets fiance at the time and his time and the band was over. Poison began recording its sixth studio album crack a smile in early 1994 but the sessions came to an abrupt end in May of that year when singer Brett Michael's was involved in a horrific car crash where he suffered a broken nose ribs jaw and fingers and lost four teeth and by 1995 the band was ready to finish up work on the record but their label had a different idea.
