Vandenberg aka Vandy is a supporting character in Predator: Killer of Killers.
He is the commander of the Texas Aces Squadron in the United States Navy during World War II, but when a mysterious ship comes out of nowhere and started taking out his entire Squadron. Vandy sacrifice himself for John J. Torres to take out the Predator.

Commander Vandenberg is the commander of the Texas Aces Squadron of the United States Navy to fight against the Germans.
Personality and Traits[]
Vandy is shown to be respectful towards every pilot and mechanic on the ship. Though he only see Torres as a mechanic and not suitable to a pilot but when the Predator had taken out his squadron, he begins to acknowledge that he was meant to be a pilot. He even willingly sacrifices himself to the Predator so Torres can finished it off.

Vandy is shown to have great pilot skills.
Role in the Film[]
Vandy first appears on the aircraft carrier that Torres is working on, he wanted to see how well Torres can fly but later sees that he's unfit to fly.
Trivia[]
- Vandy's voice actor: Michael Biehn had previously star in Aliens as Corporal Dwayne Hicks and later voiced the character in the video game: Aliens: Colonel Marines.
