The untitled Power Rangers series is an upcoming science fiction superhero television series based on the Power Rangers franchise, which in turn is based on the Super Sentai series. It is a reboot of the original series which ran from 1993-2023.

Production

On March 19, 2025, it was announced that Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz of Percy Jackson and the Olympians had entered talks to develop a new Power Rangers series for Disney+. The series will be produced by Hasbro Entertainment. By December of that year, Steinberg and Shotz confirmed that they were developing the new series.

On April 2, 2025, it was confirmed that Toei Company will not be involved in the production of the new series.

On January 4, 2026, casting was underway with various names including Shaun Dixon, Paris Bravo, Judd Goodstein, Momona Tamada, Christian Alexander Cruz, and Kira McLean, all in consideration. Leakers also claimed that Tony Espinosa, Nathaniel Buescher, Joel Oulette, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Julian Lerner, Aston Droomer, Brendan Tremblay, Siena Agudong, and potentially Mason Thames, were also being considered. Odessa A'zion was mentioned for a non-ranger role while Priyanka Chopra Jonas was mentioned for a potential villain role.

Trivia

• Disney had previously distributed the series from 2002-2010. This is the first time they are actively involved in the production.
• Unlike the previous Power Rangers series, this show will have no input from Toei Company or Saban Entertainment.
