Lilypad (alternatively spelled as Lily Pad) is set to be the main antagonist of the upcoming 2026 Disney•Pixar animated film Toy Story 5. She is Bonnie Anderson's new tablet.
Role in the film[]
Lilypad might be a threat to the toys' future with Bonnie as she would play with her more often than all her other toys. She attempts to convince her to move on from vintage, old toys to focus on digital games and friends, creating a conflict between outdated toys and modern technology.

- Lilypad most likely represents the common criticism nowadays since the 2010s-20s era that the current generation's children spend more time playing with electronic devices than with real toys, which is an issue that had recently been addressed (though not to the fullest) in the 2014 TV special Toy Story That Time Forgot.
- She is the second female main antagonist of a Toy Story film. The first one was Gabby Gabby in Toy Story 4. Third if Señorita Cactus counts, a deleted character from Toy Story 2.
- She is also the third female main villain in a Pixar film, after Evelyn Deavor from Incredibles 2 and Gabby Gabby.
- Out of all the main antagonists from Bonnie's appearances in the Toy Story franchise, not including the Toy Story Toons short films, Lilypad might be the only one who will meet all of Bonnie's main toys.
- Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear, the main antagonist of Bonnie's very first appearance, Toy Story 3 (2010) only met Chuckles the Clown and the toys that Bonnie got from Andy Davis at the end of the film - Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, Rex, Hamm, Slinky Dog, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, and the Aliens.
- Ronald Tompkins from the 2013 TV special, Toy Story of Terror!, only met Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, Mr. Pricklepants, and Trixie. The Cleric from Toy Story That Time Forgot only met Woody, Buzz, Rex, and Trixie.
- Gabby Gabby from Toy Story 4 only met Woody and Forky.
- Out of those four villains, none of them met Dolly and Buttercup. However, Fun Meal Buzz Lightyear from the 2011 Toy Story Toons short film, Small Fry, did meet all of Bonnie's main toys, except for Chuckles (who was last seen in Hawaiian Vacation) and Forky (since he hadn't been introduced yet).
- Although it now states that Lilypad will be the main antagonist of Toy Story 5, there's a possibility that Conan O'Brien's new character in the film Smarty Pants might also be a villain who is in cahoots with Lilypad, and the two of them will share the main antagonist role in the fifth film the same way that Stinky Pete and Al McWhiggin shared the main antagonist role in Toy Story 2.
- Lilypad is also the first non-toy living object that's an antagonist in the Toy Story franchise.
- Her name is a "pun-on" of the female name "Lily", "iPad" and "lily pad".
- Lilypad is a clear parody of Leapfrog's LeapPad, and may be based on one of their original mascots Lily.
