Dolphina[1] is a character featured in the 2012 Pixar short Partysaurus Rex.

Physical appearance[]
Hence her cetacean-derived name, Dolphina is a diminutive-sized pink dolphin toy Bonnie's bathtub with purple eyelids and black eyelashes, being decorated with transparent pink hearts on her body. Compared to other bathtub toys, she is capable of glowing due to her being a light-up toy, where pink light glows on her body.

Partysaurus Rex[]
When Rex turns on the faucet on Bonnie's bathtub and the bathtub toys begin to party, Dolphina is first seen perched on a colander, telling him to bring the toys in the bathtub, which Rex agrees. He then knocks the colander full of light-up toys, causing Dolphina and the other light-up toys to party on the bathtub. As they continue to party, Chuck E. Duck and Captain Suds flip the colander on Dolphina, alongside a light-up rubber duck and pufferfish, which Dolphina and the other bathtub toys continue dancing.
Noticing a drain in the bathtub, Dolphina and the other bathtub toys notice that they are about to overflow, so Rex tosses a frog-shaped sponge to block the drain, resulting in the bathtub toys to continue dancing. Noticing that there is too much water in the bathtub, Rex turns off the lever from the spouter Drips is on, much to Dolphina and the other toys' worry. However, the water from the shower's tap starts pouring, resulting in Dolphina and the bathtub toys to overflow. Dolphina makes no further appearances after that, even during the part where Bonnie's mother is talking to a plumbing service company about Bonnie's bathtub being jammed.
Other appearances[]
- Dolphina also appears in the Partysaurus Rex-inspired online game Bubble Bounce, giving her a role in the game. She is one of the toys that the player can toss in the bathtub to earn points.
Trivia[]
- Although this character was not named onscreen or in other public material such as books inspired by Partysaurus Rex, the name "Dolphina" was used on Jessica Evans' resume, making it the only name given to the aforementioned cetacean character in the Toy Story franchise.
- In some book adaptations of Partysaurus Rex, Dolphina's line, "Can you get some of us in?", was given to several light-up toys that said it, which suggests that she is not the only one saying the line but others too.
