RHEL / Rocky Linux / AlmaLinux 8 EOL announcement

PostgreSQL 18 will be the final major release supported on RHEL, Rocky Linux, and AlmaLinux 8. We will continue delivering updates for all supported PostgreSQL versions until version 18 reaches its end of life (EOL) in 2030. This ensures that these operating systems will remain supported by us for an additional five years, giving you long-term stability and time for upgrade. RHEL 7 EOL announcement

RHEL 7 has been EOLed by upstream. We also EOLed RHEL7/CentOS 7. However please see the news item for details.
