US raises CRC exports in Oct m-o-m, y-o-y

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 86,000 tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in October, increasing by 16% compared to the previous month and by 28% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 67,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 15% and a year-on-year hike of 53%. Canada ranked second with around 19,000 tons, and the exports to other countries were not significant.

During the period, the value generated by these exports was roughly US$103 million, up by 19.4% month on month and by 33.5% year on year.
