A A A
According to the Brazilian Steel Institute (IABr), the country's steel production and sales will fall in 2025 due to the prospects of lower economic growth and a worsening fiscal situation in the country.

IABr highlighted that crude steel production will fall by 0.6% to 33.58 million tons, while steel sales in the domestic market will fall by 0.8% to 21 million tons. However, apparent steel consumption will increase by 1.5% to 26.66 million tons in 2025.
