Functions of special interest
Using Wikifunctions to check Wikidata
This seems like a possible early application of Wikidata. Some examples:
- use Z11208 to check whether values of wikidata:Property:P233 assigned to molecules are validly formatted
- use Z11089 to check whether English noun lexemes have a matching plural form
Possible systems:
- A gadget that runs the Wikifunction when you are on the Wikidata item, and puts a tick or cross next to the value, depending on whether the format/value matches the expectation
- A mass analysis system where a whole sparql-query worth of items are checked against the WF values (built into the WDQS?). The Formcheck tool below seems to do this for Lexemes.
Queries:
Not currently working
- multiply integers, set-theoretic composition (Z17348) (needs to be wrapped with integer represented by ordered pair of natural numbers (Z17307))
- round trip min subnormal 1/2^1074 (Z21923)
- rational number exponentiation, recursive comp (Z21349) looks like it should work. Is there a non-greedy problem?
