Motivation
[edit]XJustiz provides specifications for various standards used in Germany. XJustiz registration court ID is a code of German registration court used in Handelsregister, i.e., German trade register. Since Wikidata already has many German local courts, it would be good to add the values of XJustiz registration court IDs to them. By the way, these codes were used by OpenCorporates to form their identifiers for German company data. For example, https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q9401#P1320 has de/T3104V_HRB6000, where T3104V (XJustiz registration court ID) corresponds to Amtsgericht Ludwigshafen am Rhein (search for T3104V at https://www.xrepository.de/api/xrepository/urn:xoev-de:xgewerbeanzeige:codeliste:registergerichte_11/download/Registergerichte_11.json).

Discussion
[edit]- Support with some considerations:
- What's the relation of DE VAT number (as can be checked at VIES) with these IDs?
- I've already imported GLEIF registration authority code (P9487), and the DE German Trade Register (Q457703) is split into a number of applies to jurisdiction (P1001) that correspond to the regional courts. I've spent plenty of time to map RAL jurisdictions to DE territories, see query below (and probably mapped some of them wrongly). Your proposal applies to courts, and the correspondence between courts and territories is crucial (I checked one court, and it has Local Court Amberg (Q480504)applies to jurisdiction (P1001)Amberg-Sulzbach (Q10421) and Amberg (Q7042)).
- If the court jurisdiction data is authoritative, can we use it somehow to check GLEI RAL jurisdictions? --Vladimir Alexiev (talk) 15:05, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
- 1. I don't think there is any relation between DE VAT number and XJustiz registration court ID.
- 2. Thanks for GLEIF registration authority code (P9487)! I've just imported GLEIF registration authority code (P9487) for German Registergerichte.
- 3. Regarding the jurisdictions. Hm, I see that jurisdiction of Registergericht is sometimes mentioned at its webpage. For example, for Amtsgericht Amberg at https://www.justiz.bayern.de/gerichte-und-behoerden/amtsgerichte/amberg/gerichtsbezirk.php. So I could check those webpages and import the jurisdictions of Registergerichte. RShigapov (talk) 10:44, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

- Comment shouldn't this have external-id as datatype? --- Jura 09:55, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- In principle, that would make sense. But don't we use the external-id datatype only for identifiers which have formatter-URL? This particular property doesn't have it unfortunately. It's a pity that https://www.handelsregister.de/rp_web/mask.do?language=de&Typ=n does not provide the API search for registration courts. Though, the HTML code of that page contains all values of XJustiz registration court IDs. RShigapov (talk) 10:28, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- No, the absence of a formatter URL (P1630) just results in the statement not linking anywhere. It can still be an identifier for a concept somewhere else. --- Jura 10:33, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- Nice! Then I'll change it to external-id! May be in future the authorities will provide a proper link for it. RShigapov (talk) 11:01, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
