Foundation date
[edit]Hello @Infovarius: what are your sources for 1054 being the foundation date of the orthodox church? Skimming through wikipedia in various languages I found no version which makes that interpretation of the schism, while en:Eastern Orthodox Church states that it was founded by Jesus in the 1st century (according to the tradition).--GrandEscogriffe (talk) 17:08, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hello. Of course, they claim. But de facto the beginning of its history is the schism. --Infovarius (talk) 03:00, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
- So you are claiming that the patriarchs of Constantinople before 1054 do not belong to the history of the Orthodox Church? What are your sources for that?--GrandEscogriffe (talk) 18:08, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
