Jill Dehnert Promoted to Group Publisher at Vox Media

Dehnert will serve as group publisher for the lifestyle brands Eater, PS, Punch, and Thrillist.

Vox Media president Pam Wasserstein today announced the promotion of Jill Dehnert to group publisher of Eater, PS (formerly Popsugar), Punch, and Thrillist. In this role, Dehnert will work to amplify those brands’ visibility and direction, lead revenue-related marketing and business planning, and support the brands’ editors-in-chief to hone the overall voice, editorial vision, and audience strategy.

“Jill is a seasoned leader with a strong track record at Vox Media growing Eater and more recently a broader lifestyle brand portfolio,” said Pam Wasserstein. “She has a deep understanding of what resonates with audiences and advertisers, and I’m looking forward to seeing how she will further expand the footprints of Eater, PS, Punch, and Thrillist.”

Over the past nine years, Dehnert has played a pivotal role in growing Vox Media’s sponsorships business, most recently as vice president and general manager of Eater, PS, Punch, and Thrillist. In her role as general manager of Eater, she successfully expanded the brand into diverse advertising categories through its Eater at Home offering, Eater maps innovation, and digital video business. She built on that success to grow strong sponsorship businesses at PS, Thrillist and Punch. She first joined Vox Media in 2015 as senior manager, brand partnerships.

Dehnert has helped drive the growth of Eater’s video business as well as its expansion into brand licensing, with new products including cookbooks, cookware, and travel guides; led sponsorship development for PS’s June relaunch; and introduced the advertising community to Thrillist’s new positioning as a travel and local experiences destination.
