For Sunday publication of weddings occuring that weekend, only pictures of the bride will be accepted (no couples). There is no regulation size for the pictures; they all will be reproduced the same size in the newspaper.
For weekday publication of past weddings, pictures of the woman alone or of the couple will be accepted.
For past weddings, photos and information must arrive within two months of the ceremony. They will be published in both The Intelligencer and the Wheeling News-Register on either a Wednesday or a Thursday, as space allows. We cannot guarantee what date the announcement will appear. If the announcement and picture arrive after the two-month deadline, the announcement will be published without the photograph.
If the photograph has placed a copyright mark on the back of the photograph, a written release from the photographer must accompany the photo and article.
We cannot guarantee the return of any photograph. Pictures may be picked up at the office after publication. If a stamped, self-addressed envelope is provided, we will try to return the picture.

The seniors of the Olive Branch Ministry of the New Jerusalem Fellowship, 2555 Palmyra Road, will sponsor a three-day retreat to Olmstead Manor in Ludlow, Pa., the weekend of June 13 to 15.

John Doe, a senior at Wheeling Park High School, has been named the Sunday News-Register Teen of the Week, making him eligible for a $1,000 scholarship to attend Wheeling Jesuit University. He is the son of James and Jane Doe of Wheeling.
Throughout his high school career, Doe has been involved with SADD, Key Club, Spanish Club, and Lacrosse. He has done volunteer work for Dr. Med. He is currently employed as a technician's assistant.

Description
Each nomination should include a wallet size photo (smaller photos cannot be accepted) and biography of the nominee. The biography must include:

2. the nominee's parents' or guardians' names and addresses (if the parents are not married to each other, be sure that is clear)
3. information about the student's high school activities and honors, the student's employment, church and community activities and his or her plans for college and beyond.
