New Castle museum shows free Halloween films

The Historic Warner Cascade Theatre Museum in New Castle, Pa., will show free Halloween films in October.

The schedule opens with “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein,” which will be shown at noon Thursday, 7 p.m. Friday and noon Oct. 31.

Other films include “House on Haunted Hill,” starring Vincent Price (noon Oct. 10 and 7 p.m. Oct. 11); “Phantom of the Opera” starring Claude Rains (noon Oct. 17 and 7 p.m. Oct 18); and George A. Romero’s original “Night of the Living Dead” (noon Oct. 24 and 7 p.m. Oct 25).
