Driven by the desire to explore the intersection of design and technology applied to fashion, for the first time ever Vibram collaborates with Slam Jam to create a post sneaker concept. Founded in 1989, Slam Jam was born to serve the underground long before the term streetwear event existed. From its headquarters in Ferrara, far from the European fashion establishment, Slam Jam was able to hone its own unique, highly distinctive style, using art and music as its guide to connecting with tribes of like-minded people across the world. Conceived with the aim to reduce the production steps while maintaining a premium quality standard. This Vibram x Slam Jam output is a hybrid shoe made in 5 steps, from the sole to the upper, combining the Vibram’s know how and technologies, with Slam Jam aesthetic and forward thinking approach.
