Enchanting, the Fort Worth, Texas-based rapper who was signed to Gucci Mane‘s 1017 Records, died at age 26 on Tuesday (June 11), per an official statement sent to The ShadeRoom.
A representative for the rapper, née Channing Nicole Larry, stated that she was reportedly going through withdrawal from a drug addiction in her final days, saying, “She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best, and I did everything I could to help her; she tried.”
The outlet states that she had been admitted to a hospital following a drug overdose and ultimately died after being taken off of life support. Enchanting’s friend and fellow Texas rapper Lil CJ Kasino posted to Instagram, echoing the outlet’s report that she had been taken off of life support, posting a heartfelt message to pay tribute to the late artist.

Enchanting signed to Gucci’s New 1017 Records in 2020, where she delivered a guest verse on the Atlanta rapper’s “Left on Read” alongside K Shiday for the album Gucci Mane Presents So Icy Summer. But it was her debut single, “No Luv,” which featured Gucci, Shiday, Key Glock, and Big Scarr—a 1017 rapper who also passed away.
Enchanting then dropped her debut album, No Luv, in November 2022 and followed up with her 2023 effort, Luv Scarred—both through 1017 Records.
VIBE sends our deepest condolences to Enchanting’s family and those impacted by this loss.
