اک تماشا فقط دکھا رہا ہوں

عمر فرحت

اک تماشا فقط دکھا رہا ہوں

آ رہا ہوں کہیں نہ جا رہا ہوں

جیت سکتا تھا میں انا کی جنگ

ہار کا زہر خود ہی کھا رہا ہوں

مجھ کو دیکھو نہ یوں حقارت سے

میں بھی کچھ دیر نا خدا رہا ہوں

اپنے ان آنسوؤں کی شدت سے

ساری دنیا کو میں ہنسا رہا ہوں

درمیاں جو پڑا ہے پردہ اب

سامنے سے اسے ہٹا رہا ہوں

جس سے بنتی نہیں عمر فرحتؔ

اسے اپنا کہاں بنا رہا ہوں

ek tamasha faqat dikha raha hun
aa raha hun kahin na ja raha hun

jit sakta tha main ana ki jang
haar ka zahr KHud hi kha raha hun

mujh ko dekho na yun hiqarat se
main bhi kuchh der na-KHuda raha hun

apne in aansuon ki shiddat se
sari duniya ko main hansa raha hun

darmiyan jo paDa hai parda ab
samne se use haTa raha hun

jis se banti nahin umar-farhat'
use apna kahan bana raha hun
