ان کے جلوے نگاہوں میں ڈھلتے رہے

شاذیہ ناز

ان کے جلوے نگاہوں میں ڈھلتے رہے

حوصلے دل ہی دل میں مچلتے رہے

دوستوں نے تو کانٹے بچھائے بہت

مسکراتے ہوئے ہم بھی چلتے رہے

کوئی پھولوں سے دامن کو بھر لے گیا

ہم کھڑے باغ میں ہاتھ ملتے رہے

اس کی بھرپور الھڑ جوانی پہ ہم

مسکراتے سسکتے مچلتے رہے

راستے منزلیں دور ہوتی گئیں

میری فطرت میں چلنا تھا چلتے رہے

اشک بہتے رہے دل دھڑکتا رہا

رات بھر کروٹیں ہم بدلتے رہے

عمر یوں ہی گزرتی رہی شازیہؔ

چوٹ کھاتے رہے اور سنبھلتے رہے

hausle dil hi dil mein machalte rahe

doston ne to kanTe bichhae bahut
muskuraate hue hum bhi chalte rahe

koi phulon se daman ko bhar le gaya
hum khaDe bagh mein hath malte rahe

is ki bharpur alhaD jawani pe hum
muskuraate sisakte machalte rahe

raste manzilen dur hoti gain
meri fitrat mein chalna tha chalte rahe

ashk bahte rahe dil dhaDakta raha
raat-bhar karwaTen hum badalte rahe

umr yun hi guzarti rahi 'shaziya'
choT khate rahe aur sambhalte rahe
