میرا جنون میری فراست کے سامنے

شاد نمباہیڈی

میرا جنون میری فراست کے سامنے

سایہ فگن بنا ہے تمازت کے سامنے

اوقات کیا بتاؤں تمہیں اس جہان کی

طرفہ تماشا ہے مری وحشت کے سامنے

ہم نے خدا کی راہ میں سر تک کٹا دیا

جھکنا کیا قبول نہ ظلمت کے سامنے

سر پر صداقتوں کے حسیں تاج ہیں مگر

مجرم ہمیں بنے ہیں عدالت کے سامنے

محبوبیت وفا کی حقیقت ہے دوستو

دنیا جھکی ہوئی ہے محبت کے سامنے

خاموش کیوں ہیں تیرے لب آرزو اے شادؔ

بے چین دھڑکنوں کی سماعت کے سامنے

mera junun meri firasat ke samne
saya-fagan bana hai tamazat ke samne

auqat kya bataun tumhein is jahan ki
turfa-tamasha hai meri wahshat ke samne

hum ne KHuda ki rah mein sar tak kaTa diya
jhukna kiya qubul na zulmat ke samne

sar par sadaqaton ke hasin taj hain magar
mujrim hamin bane hain adalat ke samne

mahbubiyat wafa ki haqiqat hai dosto
duniya jhuki hui hai mohabbat ke samne

KHamosh kyon hain tere lab-e-arzu ai 'shad'
bechain dhaDkanon ki samaat ke samne
