ganw mein eid phira karti thi galiyan galiyan
aur is shahar mein thak kar yunhi so jati hai

pahle hansti thi hansati thi khelati thi mujhe
ab to wo pas bhi aati hai to ro jati hai

kitni mastana si thi eid mere bachpan ki
ab KHayalon mein bhi lata hun to kho jati hai

hum kabhi eid manate the manane ki tarah
ab to bas waqt guzarta hai to ho jati hai

hum baDe hote gae eid ka bachpan na gaya
ye to bachchon ki hai bachchon hi ki ho jati hai
