سامنے سے جو وہ نگار گیا

دل پہ تیر نگاہ مار گیا

دیکھو بیتابی دل کی اس در پر

ایک دن میں ہزار بار گیا

منزل عشق تک نہ پہنچا آہ

میں تو چلتے ہی چلتے ہار گیا

تیرے قربان کے تو لائق ہوں

اور کاموں سے گو میں ہار گیا

پاس سے اس کے سب گئے خورسند

ایک افسوسؔ سوگوار گیا

dil pe tir-e-nigah mar gaya

dekho betabi dil ki us dar par
