اس طرح مل کہ ملاقات ادھوری نہ رہے

کنور بے چین

اس طرح مل کہ ملاقات ادھوری نہ رہے

زندگی دیکھ کوئی بات ادھوری نہ رہے

بادلوں کی طرح آئے ہو تو کھل کر برسو

دیکھو اس بار کی برسات ادھوری نہ رہے

میرا ہر اشک چلا آیا براتی بن کر

جس سے یہ درد کی بارات ادھوری نہ رہے

پاس آ جانا اگر چاند کبھی چھپ جائے

میرے جیون کی کوئی رات ادھوری نہ رہے

میری کوشش ہے کہ میں اس سے کچھ ایسے بولوں

لفظ نکلے نہ کوئی بات ادھوری نہ رہے

تجھ پہ دل ہے تو کنورؔ دے دے کسی کے دل کو

جس سے دل کی بھی یہ سوغات ادھوری نہ رہے

is tarah mil ki mulaqat adhuri na rahe
zindagi dekh koi baat adhuri na rahe

baadalon ki tarah aae ho to khul kar barso
dekho is bar ki barsat adhuri na rahe

mera har ashk chala aaya baraati ban kar
jis se ye dard ki baraat adhuri na rahe

pas aa jaana agar chand kabhi chhup jae
mere jiwan ki koi raat adhuri na rahe

meri koshish hai ki main us se kuchh aise bolun
lafz nikle na koi baat adhuri na rahe

tujh pe dil hai to 'kunwar' de de kisi ke dil ko
jis se dil ki bhi ye saughat adhuri na rahe
